Starting with Pet Day Is Simple
We have designed our onboarding process to be welcoming, not overwhelming. Here is exactly what to expect from your first inquiry to your dog's first Pet Day.
Your Path to Pet Day
Create Your Pet's Profile
Tell us about you and your dog. We want to know their personality, routine, medical information, social preferences, and care needs before they ever walk through our door. This is not paperwork - it is how we start building a relationship.
Create ProfileUpload Health Information
Provide health and veterinarian information as part of your profile. Pet Day collects and reviews each dog's health and vaccination information as part of our intake and safety process. Eligibility is determined based on the individual dog, applicable requirements, Pet Day safety policies, and management review. We will confirm what is needed after reviewing your profile.
Meet and Greet
New and unknown dogs may require a temperament evaluation or Meet and Greet before group daycare so we can get to know them in a calm, low-pressure setting. This is not a pass-or-fail evaluation — it is how we learn about their temperament, social preferences, play style, energy level, and stress signals so we can design the best possible experience. Established Pet Day dogs we already know may be pre-approved and do not need to start the process over.
Schedule a Meet and GreetTheir First Pet Day
Their first visit allows our caregivers to observe how they respond to the environment, other dogs, enrichment activities, rest time, and our team. We take notes, adjust as we go, and share what we learned with you at pickup.
Welcome to the Pet Day Family
Once onboarding is complete, you will receive your dog's first report card - a summary of what we observed and how we plan to make every future visit even better. Future bookings, updates, and communication happen through the Pet Day App.

"Deanna was wonderful! She had patience with me and my nerves, and ensuring my doggo would be a good fit to board with her, and kept me updated with videos and photos through the process. I can tell he had a blast."
